The Role

Key Responsibilities Project Management and Delivery - Plan, execute, and oversee Big Data operations projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. - Develop detailed project roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables. - Align project outcomes with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Team and Stakeholder Collaboration - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. - Serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, providing regular updates and issue resolution. - Facilitate effective collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on priorities. Operational Excellence - Manage and optimize Big Data platforms (Cloudera, Informatica, MicroStrategy) for performance and scalability. - Oversee ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of data environments. - Develop and enforce operational standards and best practices. Agile and Scrum Practices - Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Act as a Scrum Master, ensuring teams adhere to agile principles and practices. - Continuously improve processes to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes. Risk Management and Issue Resolution - Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth delivery. - Proactively resolve issues related to data operations and stakeholder requirements.



Requirements

• Experience: 8-10 years in project management, with a focus on Big Data environments. Technical Expertise: - Proficient in Cloudera, Informatica, and MicroStrategy. - Experience in managing data operations for large-scale enterprise environments. - Methodology: Strong knowledge and experience with Scrum/Agile practices. - Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical and operational teams effectively. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Arabic preferred. - Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions. - Industry Knowledge: Experience working with UAE public sector clients is a strong plus. Preferred Qualifications - Certifications in Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Project Management. - Relevant understading of Cloudera, Informatica, or MicroStrategy and or relative technlogies - Fluency in both English and Arabic. - Must have some experience working with Public Sector in the UAE.
