  • Lead compliance to the AECOM governance process for bids in the civil infrastructure department, including adherence to the AECOM Delegation of Authority.
  • Review CI teams governance documentation prior to submission.
Legal Compliance:
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address legal issues and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and documents.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Conduct risk assessments of proposed contracts, identifying potential legal and commercial risks and proposing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to minimize legal and financial risks associated with commercial activities.
Contract Management:
  • Manage the contractual issues at the pre-contract stage, including reviewing contracts, tender documentation, and other.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and related documents.
  • Monitor contract issues, identify and resolve any discrepancies or challenges that may arise.
Relations:
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers, legal counsels, other stakeholders to ensure alignment between contractual requirements and tender deliverables.
  • Respond to legal counsels and risk committee inquiries regarding contractual matters in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferably Architecture or Engineering).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-undergraduate education, with proven experience in delivering technical submissions on project in the Middle East.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in architecture and engineering principles, project management methodologies, and construction industry practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing technical bid documentation, conducting scope analyses, and developing innovative project delivery solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills with proficiency in graphic design tools and techniques to create visually appealing and impactful bid presentations.
