This role can be based in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh depending on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s current location.

Our client is a well-established events and exhibitions organization specializing in high profile large scale events, exhibitions and trade shows across the Gulf region.

We are recruiting a GCC experienced bid & proposals executive from the events and exhibitions industry to join their Gulf operations with extensive experience in preparing proposals and tender submissions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the proposal development process and develop a win strategy for tenders and RFPs to contribute to client and revenue growth.

Role Summary
  • Collaborate with the sales, events and technical teams to develop winning proposals ensuring submissions are compliant, competitive and delivered on time.
  • Lead the development of high quality RFP and tender responses and submissions to win high value new business.
  • Lead pitch presentations and prepare tender submissions to meet client budget and timeframes.
  • Lead resourcing, kickoff and pitch meetings throughout the proposal and pitch phases.
  • Ensure effective handover of commercial matters from pre-contract to post-contract phase of projects.
  • Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure terms and conditions are risk free.
  • Maintain an accurate database of tender and pitch submissions.
  • Identify ways to increase pitch conversion - streamline the proposal development process and improve overall efficiency.
  • Strong commercial and contractual skills to manage the tender life cycle from request to contract award and handover to the project delivery team.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and suppliers for tendering, contractual and commercial requirements.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • 5 \xe2\x80\x93 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in managing bids and RFPs from initial client inquiry through proposal delivery.
  • 3 - 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in new business development and sales in the events and exhibitions industry is a strong advantage.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where client changes and short deadlines are common.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all submissions.
Candidate Profile
  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to live and work in Doha, Qatar
  • Fluent in English \xe2\x80\x93 must have excellent written English skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
Education
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is mandatory
