We are looking for a BGP Protocol Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its implementation in networking environments. Proficiency in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting BGP routing is essential, along with a strong grasp of routing policy development and implementation. The candidate should have hands-on experience with BGP-related technologies, such as route reflectors, Confederations, and BGP communities. In-depth knowledge of BGP attributes, such as AS-path, MED, and local preference, is required to optimize routing decisions and path selection. Experience in working with large-scale BGP deployments and inter-domain routing is highly desirable. The ability to analyze BGP routing tables, identify routing anomalies, and mitigate routing issues is crucial for maintaining network stability and performance. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with network engineers and cross-functional teams are essential for successful BGP protocol implementation and management.
