Greet arriving guests with a warm welcome and assist them with their luggage upon arrival and departure from the hotel.
Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities, services, and amenities along the way.
Offer assistance with luggage storage, retrieval, and delivery to guest rooms as needed, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lobby and entrance areas, including monitoring and tidying luggage carts and porter stations.
Provide valet parking services for guests, retrieving and parking vehicles safely and securely in designated areas.
Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including arranging taxis, shuttles, or private car services, and providing directions to local attractions and points of interest.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests courteously and promptly, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.
Coordinate with other hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and concierge, to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient communication.
Uphold the hotel\'s standards of cleanliness, safety, and security, including handling guest belongings with care and maintaining confidentiality.
Participate in training programs and staff meetings to enhance product knowledge, improve service delivery, and foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality or related field is a plus.
Previous experience as a bell attendant, porter, or in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable and the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and other items, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
Professional appearance and grooming standards, reflecting the standards of a luxury hotel.
Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and points of interest is advantageous.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
