Job Description

Date Position: 13th June 2024 Position: Bee Keeper - Western job location: Oman

Qualification: Diploma in Agriculture and / or equivalent

Nationality: Western /European national

Job responsibility: Responsible for all Beekeeping tasks, planning and organizing honey production. Building and maintaining beehives. Checking and ensuring all active hives are kept free from parasites to prevent disease, as per Company policy and instructions. Coordinate with Crop manager to ensure pollination requirements are met on farm. Maintain all apiary areas to the highest standards as per company's protocols Provide samples for laboratory testing as requested. Ensure genetic diversity in the hives and coordinate with other keepers to achieve this. Ensure you are in a safe working environment and adhere to the Company Health & Safety Policy. Strictly follow biosecurity protocols as per Farm Procedures. You will be asked to support other activities on farm and in the logistics building in order to support the whole farm operation as required. Salary 1700- 2000 Omani Riyal
