The Context / Purpose of the JobAlign with overall objectives of TMT Projects & Solutions to meet long- and short-term objectives for the divisionby providing complete Design detailing support for Downstream business. The role will be to help indetailing services required by the business to serve the customers for finalising the BBS forReadybuild (Cut & Bend) and the production parameters of Sm@rtFAB (welded wire mesh). This willalso require conversion of existing conventional design to downstream solution-based design.He should have thorough understanding of the Indian and International codes which are relevant for thestructural design and detailing with expertise in using Digital tools like CuBe+, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro,ETABS, Tekla, Revit, etc.3. Job responsibilities:Sl.No. Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility1. Focus on generating Value for the customers through design and detail engineering (Bar bending).Schedule and Welded wire mesh schedule) for concrete structures required for various applicationsin different segments.1. Develop BBS and placement drawings for Welded wire meshes.2. Implementation and adaptation of International and Indian Standards and industrial best practices3. Checking for completeness and correctness of deliverables.4. Quantity Estimation for various requirements of the projects across all locations and accordinglymaking the BBS.5. Work on methods for Detailing level optimisation using Detailing software and 3D tools like BIM.6. Part of team for creating or evolving procedures for executing the Engineering and Design activitiesconverging towards stake holders expectations/requirements.Customers: Private and public contractors; Large and small-sized project customersInfluencers: Architects, Engineers, Masons, Govt Bodies4. Knowledge, skills and experienceEducational qualifications Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil)Relevant experience Min. 3 years of experience with deep knowledge on BBS, RCCDetailing, Design, Construction, Project management, Safety andQuality standards.Threshold skills andcapabilities required toexecute the role Product and market segment knowledge, TEKLA, AutoCAD, REVIT, BBS software, and MS Office.
