Job Title: Basketball Program Coordinator (Youth Academy Launch)

Location: UAE (Ajman / Sharjah or nearby areas)

Job Type: Part-Time / Contract

About Us:

We are establishing a youth basketball academy for children aged 6-12 in the UAE, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and fostering a love for the game. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about youth sports and experienced in setting up and coordinating sports programs.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Basketball Program Coordinator to help with the business and operational aspects of launching the academy. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching or managing youth sports and a knack for building programs from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in finding and renting gym space or partnering with schools.

- Help design a basketball training program tailored to kids aged 6-12.

- Coordinate marketing and enrollment efforts for the academy.

- Recruit and onboard coaching staff.

- Develop a system for registrations, payments, and scheduling.

- Propose ideas to make the academy unique and engaging.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in coaching or coordinating youth sports programs.

- Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and program management.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Degree is preferred but not required.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
