COMPANY OVERVIEW

Infinite Sports and Absolute Sports is home to top UAE home-grown sports academies including IJF Academy,It's Just Cricket, Absolute Gymnastics & Absolute Swimming. Infinite Active provides affordable before and after-school care for working parents. Active is currently within 2 schools and catering for 90 children a day with the view to offering this service to further schools. The program currently offers a variety of activities such asphysical literacy, creative thinking, and arts & crafts.

Infinite Camps is a multi-activity holiday Camps provider currently operating out of 20 venues across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with plans to expand into other gulf regions in the near future. We cater for 600 children per day (aged between 4 -12 years old), during school holidays. The Camps program offers a variety of purposeful activities including introductions to sports, creative thinking & arts & crafts.

Job Overview

The Basketball coach at Absolute Sports to sustain and enhance the centre's growth by providing strategic coordination and expert coaching. The Basketball Coach will prioritize EDUCATION by implementing age-appropriate, world-class coaching techniques, fostering critical and creative thinking among all student-athletes. Additionally, the aim is to instil a culture of EXCELLENCE in all facets of development and performance, encompassing both academic and athletic achievements. Through these efforts, the Basketball Coach aims for holistic player development and achievement.

Roles & Responsibilities

1 Program designing: Coordinate and deliver an age-appropriate performance program that brings out the best in the child as a player.

2. Holistic Development Program: Implement a comprehensive development and performance program tailored to all age groups, fostering growth both on and off the field.

3. Collaboration with School Staff: Work closely with the school staff to ensure alignment with the aims and objectives of the program.

4. Games Program Management: Manage and coordinate the games program for all levels, including scheduling and logistics.

5. Parental Engagement Events: Lead and coordinate termly events to engage parents and guardians, fostering a supportive and informed community.

6. Stakeholder Communication: Take the lead in all communications with stakeholders, including staff, students, and parents, ensuring clarity and transparency.

7. Compliance with School Policies: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of conduct and professionalism.

8. Engagement with Partner Schools: Engage with partner schools to facilitate the growth and expansion of the program.

9. Management of Tours: Manage domestic and international tours, providing valuable experiences for players and enhancing team cohesion.

10. Social Media Leadership: Lead and manage all social media channels to promote the achievements and activities of the program.

11. Development Opportunities: Provide development opportunities for players outside the Basketball academy, contributing to the growth of basketball in the wider community.

12. Player Reporting: Provide and review written termly reports for all players, offering insights into their progress and areas for improvement.

13. Continuous Professional Development: Ensure active and up-to-date professional development to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.

14. Additional Tasks: Complete any other tasks or responsibilities as requested by management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to program success.

15. Reporting: The Basketball Coach isresponsible to report to Academy Manager-Absolute Sports LLC.

Key Requirements

Sport related Degree / level 2 coaching qualification

Proven experience as Basketball coach

Experience in the sports coaching and/or education sector

Experience working with students aged 3-16 years.

Driving License.

Fluency in English

Regulatory Awareness

Working Hours: 48 Hours across 6 days per week.
