Our client is a newly open five-star resort with multiple F&B outlets, recognized globally as a hospitality leader for its legendary service, world-class spa retreats and distinct dining concept. As a bartender, you are responsible for providing exceptional service to the guests, creating various kind of beverages and to maintain the clean environment of the bar area. For this role, you are responsible to provide excellent service and pleasant experience to the guest. When you are behind the bar, you create an energy that is both welcoming and exciting. You take pride in offering our guests a diverse and seasonally-inspired beverage menu, a warm conversation, and helpful suggestions. Requirements: A hospitality degree from a recognized hospitality school or bartending school. One year or more of experience in a similar role in an international hotel chain or well-established restaurant chain. Knowledge of restaurant and bar procedures, set up and service. Very good command of written and spoken English. Excellent communicator with the ability to multitask. Positive outlook and outgoing personality. Previous working experience in the middle east is a plus. Additional European language is preferred. Responsibilities: Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and well-informed regarding all the menus handled. Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact Restaurant Manager/Asst. Restaurant Manager. Attend regular meetings and briefings to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments. Be familiar with beverage menus and wine menus offered in outlets. Ensure the prompt and efficient service required by the resort's standards. Ensure all mis-en-place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service. Follow the leadership of the captain or supervisor on shift. Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus and F&B day-to-day activities. Recommend and promote items as directed by the Asst. Restaurant Manager or Bar Manager. Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills.
