Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide information on the menu. Engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, and specialty drinks, following standardized recipes.
Equipment Operation: Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, blenders, and other equipment. Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of coffee, tea, and other beverages, including understanding the different types of beans, roasts, and brewing methods.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to the management team. Assist in the receiving and storage of inventory.
Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred.
Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge: Basic knowledge of coffee and tea varieties, brewing methods, and equipment.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
