• Greet each colleague and guest with a smile, positive and helpful attitude.
• Ensure Rise is set up on time with lights on and bar stocked and ready.
• Responsible for taking orders, whilst paying attention to details and making recommendations based on preferences.
• Responsible for preparing coffee, tea and shakes orders based on guests preferences.
• Maintain a close working relationship with HR and Reception and support HR during engagement activities.
• Engage and connect with colleagues while preparing beverages.
• Learn about brewing methods by studying, evaluating and re-designing process; implementing changes, maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
• Will be the host at meetings held in the meeting rooms to provide service to ensure a great meeting experience
• Always ensure the cleanliness of Rise
• Responsible for ordering of food and beverage items for Rise. Do not spend outside of routine orders without permission Responsible for menu engineering when office engagement activities happen with the supplier
• Highlight any concerns or issues to the HR team
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards
• First Aid trained and holder of Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of beverage items available
• Cover Reception and carry our tasks such as meetings room bookings, couriers, distribution mail and answering telephone when Receptionist is away
• Cover the lunch breaks of the Receptionist
• Rise Inventory and stock take on a monthly basis or as and when required
• Assist to minimize cost and wastage and proactively recycle all waste items

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• First Aid Certificate holder
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Creative individual who has a passion for creating innovative drinks for engagement events
• Availability to work around peak hours, including, early mornings,
• A polite, engaging personality.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
