As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service, enquiries and purchases in Katrina store ensuring that each customer receives highest level of service. Duties & Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance; \xc2\xb7 Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping. \xc2\xb7 Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty drinks. \xc2\xb7 Grind coffee beans, measure ingredients, and use espresso machines and other equipment proficiently. \xc2\xb7 Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation. \xc2\xb7 Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items; \xc2\xb7 Advises customers by providing information on products; \xc2\xb7 Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions; \xc2\xb7 Handling all the cash transaction of an organization; \xc2\xb7 Receive payment by cash, credit card, etc. \xc2\xb7 Checking daily cash accounts; \xc2\xb7 Guiding and solving queries of customer; \xc2\xb7 Providing training and assistance to new joined cashier; \xc2\xb7 Provide highest level of customer service to every customer and improve it; \xc2\xb7 Take gently Customer\xe2\x80\x99 orders over the phone and at the counter; \xc2\xb7 Suggest to Customers products selection in stores; \xc2\xb7 Suggest to Customers in selecting decorated cakes design and suggest the best one; \xc2\xb7 Promote to Customer new products & samples; \xc2\xb7 Manage difficult situations with Customer in absence of supervisor; \xc2\xb7 Identify customer needs & problems and manage to address them; \xc2\xb7 Ensure best merchandise display for Customer with arrangement and price tags; \xc2\xb7 Retain knowledge and explanation of all bakery & pastry products sold in the bakery; \xc2\xb7 Package carefully products in special envelopes & boxes; \xc2\xb7 Count and store received bakery and pastry products & items as needed; \xc2\xb7 Write messages on cakes; \xc2\xb7 Report to supervisor for products imperfections or hazards; \xc2\xb7 Follow the chiller temperature and fill in a form; \xc2\xb7 Properly use store equipment such as label machine, chillers, coffee machine, oven, dishwasher, laptops, POS and upkeep it (change tapes and ribbons, etc.); \xc2\xb7 Follow safe food handling guidelines. Keep work area sanitary and clean; \xc2\xb7 Ensure effective coordination with other departments; \xc2\xb7 Identify store needs & place product orders to central kitchen; \xc2\xb7 Minimize time & improve quality to take customers\xe2\x80\x99 orders; Requirement \xc2\xb7 Friendly and engaging personality. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment. \xc2\xb7 Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred. \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years retail or customer service experience. \xc2\xb7 Familiar with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel. \xc2\xb7 Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. \xc2\xb7 Fast-learning and properly following the processes and guidelines. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work as part of a team and independently without supervision. \xc2\xb7 Ability to make customer-oriented and cost-effective decisions, take responsibility.
