Job Description

DUTIES Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios) Prepare beverages following recipes, and OFFER food, like cookies, pastries and muffins IF NEEDED. Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages. Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment Cleaning service and seating areas Helping in Kitchen if needed. Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers Servicing customers and taking orders Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies Receiving and processing customer payments QUALIFICATION Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress Hands-on experience with brewing equipment Knowledge of sanitation regulations. Ability to gauge customers' preferences.
