\xc2\xb7 Greeting customers as they enter. \xc2\xb7 Providing customers with drink menus and answering their questions regarding ingredients and product. \xc2\xb7 Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar etc,) \xc2\xb7 Prepare beverages following recipes. \xc2\xb7 Serve beverages and prepared food, cookies, pastries and muffins etc. \xc2\xb7 Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) \xc2\xb7 Keep the bar area clean at all time. \xc2\xb7 Report for duty ten minutes early with clean attire. \xc2\xb7 Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates. \xc2\xb7 Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs. \xc2\xb7 Comply with health and safety regulations given by the company. \xc2\xb7 Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items. \xc2\xb7 Does not leave the area of work without notifying the Captain/Supervisor /restaurant in-charge. \xc2\xb7 Follow the policies and procedures of the Department as SOP Manual. \xc2\xb7 Double check all items received from the stores and ensure this corresponds with the requisition form. \xc2\xb7 Make sure that all food and beverage items are picked up as required. \xc2\xb7 To attend all Hotels Training as requested by the management. \xc2\xb7 To ensure that house rules are followed. \xc2\xb7 To be aware of all emergency procedures. \xc2\xb7 To promote team work within the department & ensure equality at workplace is maintained without sexual discrimination and harassment. \xc2\xb7 To strictly adhere to the Hotels Policy on Confidentiality and Ethics and all Hotels Food & Beverage Standards. \xc2\xb7 Fully aware of the Room Service and other outlets menu, answers questions on menu selections, communicates with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability. \xc2\xb7 To perform all other tasks as requested by management. \xc2\xb7 The set service standards to be followed while serving the guest. \xc2\xb7 To strictly adhere to the hotels policy/procedures and all Hotels Food & Beverage Standards. \xc2\xb7 Keeps concerned departments informed about the guest allergies and food preferences. \xc2\xb7 Ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages \xc2\xb7 Picks-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area \xc2\xb7 Attend service briefings prior to each meal period. \xc2\xb7 Know the restaurant menu and Specials of the day. \xc2\xb7 If required assist in bringing food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness. \xc2\xb7 Handle all guest complaints in a professional manner. \xc2\xb7 To clear and re-set tables according to instructions. \xc2\xb7 Report any theft or damages to Supervisor/Captain \xc2\xb7 Report to Supervisor or Captain before completion of the shift. \xc2\xb7 Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions \xc2\xb7 Able to report for duty punctually, wearing a correct and clean uniform and name badge at all times. \xc2\xb7 Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.
