Urgent Hiring for our Outlet located in Dubai

GENERAL SUMMARY

Senior Barista is responsible for assisting the store manager in maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a total quality experience for both our customers and team members.

Promote coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies.

Assist in training, customer service, product knowledge and education, encouraging safe work practices. Helps in supervising other baristas and acts as the manager on duty in the absence of the store and/or assistant manager.

OPERATIONS

• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and make them feel at home.
• When applicable ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.
• Maintain the highest quality, consistent product standards in coffee making.
• Follow all Company drink recipes and procedures
• Develop an understanding of coffee and tea regions and the various differences in flavor and blends.
• Continue to educate themselves on the various types of coffee, tea products, blends and roasts.
• In addition to all coffee products the position of Senior Barista is responsible for stocking and providing all other beverages.
• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or tea.
• Greet all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
• Verbally receive and call back customer orders in a friendly manner when taking the order.
• Report all customer complaints to manager on duty.
• Respond proactively to prevent customer service situations.
• Accurately ring sales orders into cash register and count back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner when applicable.
• When required, answer telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greeting, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders.
• Answer customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness.
• Up sell and serve baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
• Maintain efficient, friendly service.
• Restock shelves when necessary.
• Routinely clean the bar area, floor, windows and grinders, and take out trash, etc.
• Assist in the distribution of weekly shipments.
• Report potential safety hazards to the manager on duty.
• Report all employee accidents to the manager on duty.
• Inform the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
