Main Duties & Key Responsibilities in
Beverage Preparation:
Expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty drinks, according to standardized recipes.
Ensure all beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
Stay updated on new coffee trends and contribute ideas for seasonal menus.
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide personalized service to enhance their experience.
Educate guests about menu items, ingredients, and brewing methods.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
Operational Excellence:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and workstations.
Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Assist in training new team members on coffee preparation techniques and customer service standards.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
Assist in placing orders for replenishment and managing inventory to minimize waste.
Cash Handling:
Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
Process payments and manage cash transactions responsibly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role.
Proficiency in brewing techniques and latte art is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of coffee beans, blends, and brewing equipment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
