Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take drink orders and serve beverages in a timely manner
Prepare and serve specialty cocktails and drinks according to the restaurant's standards
Maintain a clean and organized bar area
Monitor and control inventory of beverage supplies
Upsell and promote featured drinks and specials to guests
Follow all food and beverage safety and sanitation guidelines
Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and menu offerings
Creating and updating a beverage menu with seasonal offerings and specialty drinks.
Participating in training sessions to stay current on new cocktails, wines, and spirits.
Assisting in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service.
Collaborating with the Restaurant's Manager or Bartender to recommend and pair wines with dishes.
Ensuring that the bar area is stocked with necessary supplies, such as glassware, garnishes, and mixers.
Attending to any special requests or accommodations for guests, such as dietary restrictions or allergies.
Assisting with special events, private parties, and banquets that require bar services.
Keeping track of inventory levels and placing orders for replenishment as needed.
Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to responsible service practices.
Conducting end-of-shift cash and inventory reconciliations and reporting any discrepancies to management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant setting
Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and cocktails
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Knowledge of food and beverage safety regulations
