We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banquet operations, ensuring that events run smoothly and guests have a memorable experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet events, including menu selection, room setup, and d\xc3\xa9cor.
Manage the banquet staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide recommendations on food and beverage options.
Ensure that all event spaces are properly set up and that equipment and supplies are readily available.
Oversee banquet service during events, ensuring that all guests are served efficiently and that all dietary restrictions or special requests are accommodated.
Monitor event budgets and expenses, ensuring that events are profitable and within budgetary constraints.
Coordinate with other departments, such as culinary and housekeeping, to ensure seamless event execution.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a banquet managerial role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
Familiarity with event planning software is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
