Job Responsibilities :
• Prepare a variety of baked goods such as bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies.
• Follow recipes and adjust quantities based on demand.
• Ensure that products meet quality and consistency standards.
• Operate ovens, mixers, and other baking equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following food safety protocols.
• Measure ingredients and prepare doughs and batters.
• Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure that all baked goods are stored and displayed properly.
• Assist with customer orders, especially for custom cakes or pastries.
• Participate in regular inventory checks and ordering of supplies.
Skills & Qualifications :
• Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and safety standards.
• Creativity, particularly in cake decoration or pastry design.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and good time management.
