We are seeking a talented and creative Bakery Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and pastry arts, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of baked goods, from bread and pastries to cakes and desserts, ensuring that each item meets our high standards of quality and taste.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare a variety of baked goods including sourdough bread, French baguettes, soft bread, burger buns, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts.
• Develop new recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Oversee daily operations of the bakery section, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams to fulfill special orders and catering requests.
• Train and mentor junior bakery staff, ensuring proper techniques and standards are upheld.
• Monitor and control baking processes, including mixing, proofing, and baking.
• Decorate cakes and other pastries to meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the menu.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar role, with specific expertise in sourdough bread, French baguettes, soft bread, and burger buns.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
• Creativity and ability to develop innovative and appealing baked goods.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
