• Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters.
• Monitoring baking process to ensure goods are baked properly and at correct temperatures.
• Adhering to baking times and adjusting as necessary.
• Developing new recipes or adjusting existing ones.
• Collaborating with pastry chefs or kitchen staff to create new menu items.
• Decorating cakes, pastries, and other baked goods using icing, glazes, toppings, etc.
• Ensuring finished products are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
• Checking ingredients for freshness and quality.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
• Cleaning work areas, equipment, and tools to maintain a sanitary kitchen.
• Performing routine maintenance on baking equipment.
• Interacting with customers, taking orders, and providing information about products.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any complaints or concerns.
• Following health and safety guidelines, including food hygiene regulations.
• Adhering to baking standards and procedures set by the bakery or kitchen.
