Purpose of the role

The Back of House (BOH) Training Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for all BOH staff, ensuring that all employees are knowledgeable about the company's standards, procedures, and expectations. This role ensures that kitchen operations run smoothly by providing comprehensive training on food safety, cooking techniques, equipment use, and cleaning protocols.



Key Areas of Responsibilities

Develop SOPs, videos, and other instructional materials to support the training programs.

Facilitate both group and individual training sessions on various topics such as food safety, equipment use, cooking techniques, and hygiene standards.

Work with the Kitchen In charges to identify training needs and ensure alignment with company goals and standards.

Ensure all BOH staff comply with health and safety regulations, as well as Kcal policies and procedures.

Create and maintain a skills grid for each FOH restaurant employee, tracking training and development progress.

Assist in the onboarding process of new BOH employees, ensuring they receive the necessary training to perform their roles effectively.

Communicate regularly with BOH staff to understand their training requirements and address any concerns they may have and provide feedback on the same.

Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and progress.

Create and analyze monthly exams for all BOH staff to identify training directions.



Professional Requirements

Bachelor's degree/Diploma/ Equivalent

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the U.A.E

Excellent knowledge in MS Office

Excellent interpersonal skills in English

Package

Salary: AED 5,000/Month
