Job Role-
• Catering Food Production Manager is responsible for the overall production within the facility, covering areas of quality control, costs, food production, personnel, safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction.
• This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible.
• This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of production employees in order to prepare and deliver finished food product to a serving area for consumption.
• Responsible for purchasing, receiving, and managing food production activities.
• Maintain food production records, and plan and cost menus.
• Ensures appropriate sanitation standards and requirements are met.
• Responsible for ensuring procedural compliance in support of workplace safety.
• Responsible for inventory control for all food production resources.
• Responsible for all aspects of employee training to food production standards and processes.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with brand standards, procedures, and specifications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree (and/or requisite industry and management experience).
• 3+ years basic food production experience in Catering industry
• 3+ years catering production, onsite event management or similar experience
• Strong management and leadership skills
•Excellent customer service skills
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
