Role Responsibilities:
Deal Origination and Strategic Leadership:
Spearhead the origination and underwriting of strategic investment opportunities in the real estate sector.
Contribute significantly to the formulation and advancement of departmental investment strategies.
Negotiation Mastery and Deal Execution:
Demonstrate adept negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for complex deals.
Direct the comprehensive development of internal investment memoranda, crucial for informed decision-making.
Develop sophisticated underwriting models, thoroughly assessing the merits and risks of potential real estate opportunities.
Oversee meticulous market research, ensuring the preparation of comprehensive due diligence materials, budgets, and financial models.
Provide visionary leadership, guiding and mentoring junior and mid-level team members.
Lead, supervise, and ensure the proficiency of the team, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Ensure meticulous compliance with relevant laws, financial standards, Shariah advisors, and internal functions.
Lead efforts to align due diligence outcomes with deal warranties and other critical risk mitigants.
Spearhead the development of innovative joint venture structures, optimizing deal economics.

Oversee and take ownership of deal budgets, cash flows at closing, and ongoing monitoring.

Role education and qualification requirements: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field is preferred. A Masters degree or additional certifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.) are advantageous. Experience: 6+ years of UK, Europe and/or US experience in equity investments and asset management across multiple property types. Exposure to multiple geographies is preferred. Technology and Software: Familiarity with advanced real estate investment and analysis software tools. Database Management: Working knowledge of database management and CRM tools are advantageous.
