Set up and check equipment for banquet functions based on daily issue of function sheets, including removal and storage
Carry out work as assigned in order to ensure the correct and functional set up of all functions
Operate equipment for functions as when required
Ensure on a monthly basis that an inventory is conducted for all equipment used for banquets
Ensure that all outgoing and incoming equipment which have been requested for banquets outside catering are logged daily
Carry out assignments on the Preventive Maintenance Programme
Cooperate and provide assistance with other Engineering colleagues whenever necessary and available-
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside A/V control room and A/V storage room
Inspect all function room daily and breakout areas, ensuring all lights, A/C and services are defect free and repair or replace lamps immediately
Carry out any work requested by the Superiors
Operate in a safe and environmental friendly way to protect guests and employees health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when the situation arises
Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Ensure that all emergency calls are promptly and efficiently responded to

To be fully conversant with the BMS system and to ensure it is fully functional at all times
Qualifications
At least 2 years experience in events operations with multiple venues
Great conversational skills and teamwork oriented
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Has a passion for music, fashion and enjoys elevating the status quo
