Job Overview:

The AV Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to the sales team and potential clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, designing AV solutions, and demonstrating the technical aspects of our products and services. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in AV pre-sales or technical sales, with a strong technical background in AV systems and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, audio systems, and control systems.
• Solution Design: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and design tailored AV solutions that meet those needs.
• Proposal Development: Develop detailed proposals and technical documentation, including system diagrams, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Client Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for clients, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our AV solutions.
• Support Sales Process: Assist the sales team throughout the sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal, ensuring technical accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Project Management: Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to ensure smooth implementation of AV solutions.
• Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the AV industry to provide innovative solutions to clients.
• Training: Provide training and technical support to sales team members and clients as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in AV pre-sales, technical sales, or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, audio systems, and control systems. Experience with AV design software is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with sales, project management, and technical teams.
• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications will be an added Advantage
• Others: Willingness to handle Administration preferred
