Job Description

The Automobile Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on various vehicle types. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
• Diagnostic and Troubleshooting:
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Interpret diagnostic data and perform necessary repairs to resolve problems.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to verify the effectiveness of repairs.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair plans, and maintenance recommendations.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs made, and parts used.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other technicians, service advisors, and management to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automobile technician.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
• Licenses: Valid UAE driver's license.
• Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
