As a Repair Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee a team of automotive technicians in our repair department. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, ensuring quality repairs, and maximizing productivity to meet customer needs and company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team of automotive technicians, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed repairs, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with complex repairs and troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure availability of required parts and materials for repairs, minimizing downtime.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair status, estimated completion times, and any additional work needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repair orders, parts usage, and technician hours worked.
• Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Train and mentor technicians on repair techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Repair Quality: Ensure that repairs meet or exceed industry standards, minimizing rework and customer complaints.
• Efficiency: Achieve targets for repair efficiency, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through quality repairs, clear communication, and timely service delivery.
• Team Performance: Develop and motivate team members to achieve individual and departmental goals, including KPI targets for repair quality and efficiency.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, preventing accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience 5 to 8 years as an automotive technician or in a leadership role within an auto repair shop is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in technical training is required.
•Candidate should be ready to relocate to any location in UAE (Sharjah, Dubai or Abu Dhabi) •
