Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused

Automotive Service Advisor

to join our service team team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dealership environment and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. The Service Advisor will act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all clients. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of automotive services, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Interaction:

Greet customers warmly and professionally upon their arrival at the service department. Listen to customer concerns, accurately document vehicle issues, and provide clear explanations of recommended services. Offer expert advice on maintenance schedules, repairs, and warranty services.

Service Coordination:

Create and manage work orders, ensuring all details are accurately recorded in the dealership's management system. Liaise with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Provide customers with accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance, including cost and timeframes.

Customer Communication:

Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the service process. Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to the Service Manager when necessary.

Sales and Upselling:

Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products that benefit the customer (e.g., maintenance packages, tire upgrades, etc.). Promote dealership promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers to customers.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and vehicle history. Process invoices and payments, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Schedule follow-up appointments and send reminders to customers.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Service Manager, technicians, and parts department to ensure efficient workflow. Participate in team meetings to discuss service department goals, challenges, and improvements.

Qualifications:



Education:

In automotive service engineering, Diploma and ITI

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Advisor within a dealership setting. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in dealership management systems (e). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset. Basic understanding of automotive warranties and insurance claims.
