Responsible for setting and overseeing the process of parts department for internal business, ensuring that systems, methods, and stocks are readily available achieving the target turnover and revenue from parts and accessories. As the business expands, responsibility will extend to achieving a high level of sales and protecting market shares through actively promoting relationships with independent workshops and increasing sales of accessories.
Key Accountabilities

• Achieve parts department's plans and budget to achieve sales and financial targets
• Source and purchase parts from various supplier, negotiating favourable terms.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with the vendors.
• Supply turnaround time at all locations in line with operational requirements.
• Ensure the effective achievement of the functional objectives and efficient implementation of all procedures and policies in accordance with quality/QMA audit
• Maintain stock availability and conduct stock inventory on a regular basis
• Maintain accurate inventory records and control stock levels.
• Conduct regular stock audits and maintain records.
• Assist in the preparation of departmental / individual targets and qualities objectives.
• Supervise and train parts staff, ensuring high performance and customer service standard.
• Schedule shift and manage workload among team members.
• Generate reports on inventory turnover, sales trends and parts usage.
• Analyse data to make informed decisions regarding inventory and procurement strategies.
• Ensure proper, efficient, and timely effective branch transfer of Parts.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
• Manage personal time schedule and productivity: Maintain the highest levels of personal integrity, personal development, quality standards and business ethics.
• Inventory Management: Efficiently managing stock levels, minimizing excess inventory, and optimizing stock turnover. Develop parts stockholding at levels to ensure time availability at fast-moving parts at least 80%.
• Supply Chain Management: Ensuring effective collaboration with suppliers for timely and cost-effective replenishment of spare parts.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent service through accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and addressing customer queries and concerns.
• Quality Control: Ensuring the quality of spare parts through rigorous inspection.
• Cost Management: Managing costs related to procurement, storage, and distribution of spare parts to maximize profitability. Stay within budget for parts procurement, aiming for cost savings year over year.
• Technology Integration: Utilizing technology for inventory tracking, order processing, and data analytics to improve overall efficiency.
• Training and Development: Investing in the training and development of staff to enhance their knowledge of products and customer service skills.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improving and streamlining internal processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Supplier Performance: Maintain a supplier on-time delivery rate of 95% or higher.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks, such as stockouts, overstock situations, and supplier-related issues.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in engineering, business management or related field Extensive knowledge and experience on:

• Proficiency in inventory management software.
Experience
• 6-8 years of experience in automotive parts management and 3 years in similar position
• Detailed knowledge of Gulf Market and competition
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of English.
• General user of Microsoft Office packages, workshop loading, and parts management systems
