Job Description

:

The person responsible for conceptualizing and creating the visual and aesthetic aspects of automotive design, as well as developing the functional aspects of the vehicle, including mechanical, electrical, software, electronics, and safety aspects, in collaboration with the engineering department.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and senior management to understand project requirements, target market, and design constraints.

- Generate and develop preliminary design concepts for the bike's exterior, interior, and key design elements.

- Create preliminary drawings of automotive designs, including interior, exterior, and color schemes.

- Create sketches, renderings, and digital models to communicate and visualize design ideas.

- Incorporate ergonomic considerations, safety regulations, and manufacturing feasibility into the design process.

- Ensure that the design complies with security and environmental standards and government regulations.

- Conduct research on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor designs to inform and inspire design concepts.

- Present design proposals and concepts to internal teams, clients and executives, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that design elements are integrated with technical specifications and functional requirements.

- Create design specifications, documents, and design guidelines to facilitate the production process.

- Stay up-to-date with automotive industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to continuously improve design skills and knowledge design skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis.

Academic qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, Automotive Design, or a related field

-Proven experience as an automotive designer, working on the exterior and interior design of automobiles.

-Proficiency in design programs such as AutoCAD, Blender, CATIA, Photoshop and other design programs.

-Strong drawing and presentation skills.

-Strong drawing and presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts.

-In-depth knowledge of Automotive design principles, including proportion, surface, and aerodynamics.

-Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles relevant to automotive design.

-Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into visually compelling and executable designs.

-Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively explain design concepts and rationale.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

-Familiarity with emerging trends in electric and autonomous vehicles and sustainable design is a plus

-Ability to create and adopt an integrated manufacturing automation system

-Fluent in English
