Job Description

An Automobile Parts Advisor is responsible for providing expert advice and support to customers and automotive technicians in selecting the appropriate parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance. The role involves managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring timely availability of parts. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles.
• Provide expert advice on product specifications, availability, and compatibility.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
• Sales and Inventory Management:
• Process orders, generate sales invoices, and manage payment transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the timely ordering of parts.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishments.
• Promote and upsell additional products and services.
• Technical Support:
• Collaborate with automotive technicians to determine the right parts for vehicle repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, products, and recalls.
• Provide technical assistance and support to both internal and external customers.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain an organized and efficient parts storage area.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the service department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in automotive technology or related fields is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive parts sales or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in using inventory management and point-of-sale software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time
