Job Title: Automation Manager

Location: Saif Zone Sharjah

Department: Production

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation Manager to oversee and manage the automation processes within our packaging department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Strategy: Develop and implement automation strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in the packaging process.
• Project Management: Lead automation projects from conception through implementation, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize automated systems to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the maintenance of automation equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source and integrate new automation technologies.
• Compliance: Ensure all automation processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on automation performance and project status to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation management, preferably in the packaging industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and other automation software. Knowledge of robotics and AI applications in packaging is an advantage.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects.

UAE Driving license is a must.
