Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose
To be responsible for the management, preparation and controlling all CAD drawings to support NDT Inspection Team in platform facilities, and assist in the production of relevant drawings, plans, layouts, and data as requested.
Functions
Reading and interpreting P&ID, Construction, and Isometric drawings and specifications.
This role will be responsible for developing Isometric Piping Drawings with the use of AutoCAD or related program.
Working from sketches, notes and other input materials and develop detailed AutoCAD drawings.
Discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively with immediate supervisor and other project personnel.
Preparing Detail drawings for Access platforms, Fixed & Rotating Machinery Equipment, Equipment supports, Skids, Handrails, Stairs and ladders, Boat landing, Manifolds, Riser, Riser Clamps etc.
Assist workpack Engineer when required.

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment.

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; (or equivalent)
Professional training in AutoCAD (E)
Prior experience with Isometrics and P&IDs (E)
Valid Offshore Safety Training Certificate (OPITO), IMIST (P)
Fit for Offshore Visits (If required) (P)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD experience in the Oil and Gas environment developing P&IDs and construction or inspection isometrics (E)


Excellent computer skills (MS Office), including Word, Excel and Power Point; (E)


Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills. (P)
