Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the site related technical drawings as per the information and details given by the concerned project engineers using AutoCAD, and providing critical support to the projects. This role requires precision, expertise in AutoCAD software, and strong analytical skills.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field and an Auto CAD certification
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the contracting sector.
• Very good command of English (reading & writing).
• Should have knowledge in technical terminologies and symbols for the relevant field of work.
• Engineering Drawing skills.

Additional qualifications:

• Experience with other UAE government work/entities (ex. FEWA, ADWEA, ADDC, UAE Armed Forces, DEWA, Municipality) a strong asset

Main Responsibilities:

• Collects site data from the Land Surveyor.
• Prepares the workshop drawings at the beginning of the project with reference to tender drawings.
• Prepares the site drawings based on the detailed information given by the project engineer and submits them to the technical manager for review and approval.
• Prepares the route layout drawings giving all necessary details and submits to the technical manager for review and approval and further submission to the Consultant.
• Details the high-level project drawings which were provided by the subcontractors, as per the client / consultant request.
• Prepares the materials take off based on the approved shop drawings.
• Clears the details of the used items, and necessary used connections or equipment, based on the project engineer's instructions.
• Prepares as built drawings for all works executed in the projects such as piping layout, chambers, single line drawings, electrical power drawings, and lighting systems drawings, based on the instructions and design of the concerned Project Engineer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
