Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and designs for marine products and systems. The role supports the engineering and sales teams by providing accurate plans and diagrams, ensuring that all technical specifications and industry standards are met to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Key Accountabilities:

Prepare detailed technical drawings and designs for marine products and systems in accordance with company and client requirements.

Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to develop and modify technical drawings based on project specifications.

Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements.

Maintain and update drawings, documentation, and records for all projects and products.

Review and interpret customer specifications and offer technical solutions where required.

Assist in the development of technical proposals by providing detailed and accurate drawings.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of marine systems and technical specifications.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in drafting, preferably within the marine or engineering industry.

Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.

Experience in preparing drawings for mechanical, electrical, and marine systems is an advantage.
