Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise and detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD software. This role requires collaboration with engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and quality of the designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design:
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on engineering specifications and requirements.
• Create and modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to gather necessary information and requirements.
• Assist in the coordination of projects, ensuring that drawings are completed on time and meet project specifications.
• Participate in project meetings to provide input on design and drafting aspects.
• Quality Control:
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients.
• Maintain an organized system of digital and physical files for all projects.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical support and assistance to the engineering team regarding CAD software and design issues.
• Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD software versions and industry practices.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Associate degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably in an engineering consulting environment.
• Experience in drafting for civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering projects is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of additional CAD software.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
