Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman specializing in traffic signal works to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for traffic signal projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design:

o Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and plans for traffic signal installations, modifications, and upgrades.

o Develop layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction details for traffic signals.

o Collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and ensure that drawings meet project requirements.

o Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for completed projects.

Project Coordination:

o Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure project timelines are met.

o Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineering and project management teams.

o Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

o Ensure that all drawings and designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., MUTCD, local traffic codes).

o Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

o Maintain and update CAD libraries and templates to reflect current standards and practices.

Technical Support:

o Provide technical support and guidance to field teams during the installation and maintenance of traffic signals.

o Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues and provide solutions to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Associate's degree or diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

o Minimum of 1 -3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, with a focus on traffic signal works or related civil engineering projects.

o Experience with traffic signal design and knowledge of traffic engineering principles.

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., MicroStation).

o Strong understanding of drafting standards and best practices.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
