Autocad Draftsman
Job Description
An AutoCAD Draftsman creates technical drawings and plans using the AutoCAD software. They receive sketches and specifications from engineers and architects, and translate them into accurate drawings. The draftsman plays a vital role in designing structures, generating layouts, and providing support to engineering teams.
Responsibilities
• Receive sketches and specifications from engineers and architects.
• Use AutoCAD software to create technical drawings and plans.
• Generate layouts and details for structural designs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to modify and optimize designs.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to technical standards.
• Convert 2D drawings into 3D models when required.
• Prepare bills of materials and other technical documentation.
• Stay updated with latest AutoCAD features and functionalities.
• Requirements
• Diploma in drafting or relevant field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing concepts.
• Knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Prior experience in drafting or architecture is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
