Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The AutoCAD Drafter will play a critical role in the creation of shop drawings, design development drawings, and cutting lists for superyacht interiors. This is a full-time on-site position where you will collaborate with a dedicated team to bring design concepts to life and ensure the highest standards in yacht interior fit-out.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed shop drawings, design development drawings, and cutting lists based on design specifications and sketches. Analyze design sketches, image references, and specifications to create accurate design or shop drawings. Collaborate with the design team to ensure that all drawings are aligned with project requirements and client expectations. Work with different team members to ensure timely and accurate production of drawings for yacht interior projects. Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and project guidelines. Utilize AutoCAD software effectively, including managing layers, Xref, and Dynamic Blocks for accurate and organized drafting. Assist in the overall design process, offering insights to improve designs and streamline production.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience working with AutoCAD, including familiarity with Layer Manager, Xref, and Dynamic Blocks. Ability to analyze and interpret design sketches, reference images, and specifications to create precise drawings. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Experience in creating shop drawings, design development drawings, and cutting lists. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment. Experience in yacht interior fit-out or high-end furniture manufacturing is a plus.
