Position: Experienced Automotive Mechanic & Workshop Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic with strong electrical expertise to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our workshop. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, possess excellent leadership skills, and be capable of ensuring smooth workshop operations, staff management, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Workshop Operations Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

Supervise all staff, including mechanics, technicians, and support personnel.

Coordinate tasks and workflows to meet deadlines and quality standards.

2. Customer Relations:

Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates to customers.

Follow up with customers for approvals on repairs and estimates.

Ensure timely updates on the progress of vehicle repairs.

3. Parts & Supplies Coordination:

Drive to pick up necessary parts and supplies as needed.

Maintain and monitor the inventory of car parts, tools, and supplies to prevent shortages.

4. Vehicle Logistics:

Coordinate the pick-up and drop-off of customer vehicles as required.

Ensure proper handling and care of vehicles during transit.

5. Staff Leadership & Training:

Lead, mentor, and train workshop staff to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Resolve any staff or operational issues that may arise.

Requirements:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in automotive workshop operations, including mechanical and electrical repairs.

Proven ability to manage a team and oversee operations independently.

Valid driver's license and ability to drive for parts pick-up.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Knowledge of inventory management and workshop tools.
