Al Zaabi Autocare is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Window Tinting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying high-quality window tints to a variety of vehicles, ensuring precision and customer satisfaction. You will work with luxury and premium brands, providing tinting solutions that not only enhance the aesthetic of the vehicle but also improve privacy, UV protection, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Window Tinting Application:
• Apply window tint films to vehicle windows with precision and care, ensuring a smooth, bubble-free finish.
• Work with various types of window tints (e.g., ceramic, carbon, dyed) and explain the benefits of each to customers.
• Ensure that the tint complies with local regulations and meets customer expectations in terms of opacity and heat rejection.
• Surface Preparation:
• Clean and prepare vehicle windows for tint application by removing any dirt, dust, or debris to ensure a flawless installation.
• Ensure proper surface preparation by inspecting windows for defects that may affect tint adhesion or appearance.
• Customer Consultation:
• Provide professional advice to customers on the best tinting options based on their needs, vehicle type, and local regulations.
• Explain the benefits of window tinting, including UV protection, glare reduction, privacy, and heat rejection.
• Precision Cutting & Installation:
• Measure and cut tinting film to fit various window shapes and sizes with precision.
• Ensure proper alignment and placement of the tint, using heat guns and squeegees to eliminate air bubbles and ensure a perfect finish.
• Post-Installation Care:
• Provide customers with post-installation care instructions to maintain the quality and longevity of the window tint.
• Inspect completed work to ensure that the tint is properly installed, with no peeling, bubbles, or imperfections.
• Maintenance & Safety:
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring that all tinting materials are stored and handled properly.
• Follow all safety protocols during the installation process, particularly when working with heat guns and sharp tools.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other team members, including auto detailers and technicians, to coordinate tinting services alongside other vehicle maintenance or customization jobs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to an efficient and productive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Window Tinting Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Expertise in applying various types of window tint films (ceramic, carbon, dyed, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, precise work.
• Familiarity with local tinting regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity required for cutting, installing, and smoothing films.
