Are you a skilled Auto Painter with expertise in vehicle surface preparation and professional painting techniques? We are seeking an Auto Painter to ensure high-quality finishes on automotive and construction equipment, using industry-standard materials and methods. This role plays a vital part in maintaining vehicle aesthetics and durability while following company and safety regulations.

Perform skilled auto painting work to maintain vehicle appearance, durability, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Carry out painting tasks following MG Guidelines & IEM SOP. Coordinate with the Workshop Controller and Parts Advisor to obtain necessary parts. Follow superior instructions in alignment with Company SOP. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times. Ensure proper care and maintenance of company assets, keeping a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to health and safety regulations in all painting procedures. Use lacquer, resin, polyurethane, and epoxy to apply high-quality finishes to vehicle surfaces. Clean and prepare vehicle surfaces, removing dirt, grease, and old paint before repainting. Strip old paint using liquid removers, scrapers, or other effective techniques. Inspect and identify areas needing replacement, sanding, or protection before painting. Properly maintain hand tools and paint equipment. Perform paint booth maintenance, including filter and fan belt replacements. Mix and match paint colors to ensure consistency with the vehicle's original color. Apply primers and repaint surfaces using spray guns. Conduct wet-sanding and buffing to polish the vehicle once the paint has dried. Mask vehicle areas using tape and paper to ensure precision when applying multiple colors.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in automotive painting. Skills & Abilities: Expertise in spray painting techniques. Ability to mix and match colors accurately. Familiarity with auto painting tools and equipment. Fluency in English (Arabic preferred).
