to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy-duty machines such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, cranes, and other construction or mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in heavy equipment and machinery.
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and system checks.
Repair or replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, and undercarriages.
Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot faults.
Conduct overhauls and rebuilds of engines and mechanical systems when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Support field service tasks as required, including emergency breakdowns on-site.
Collaborate with electricians and other technicians for combined repair efforts.
Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or ITI
Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic for heavy-duty equipment or machinery.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Familiarity with tools and diagnostic systems used for heavy machinery.
Physically fit and capable of working in field and workshop conditions.
Valid driver's license (heavy equipment operation license is a plus).
Preferred:
Experience working with brands like Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, Liebherr, JCB, etc.
Previous experience in construction, mining, or logistics industries.
GCC or international work experience is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of auto electrical systems.
