Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment in buildings and other structures.
• Inspect electrical components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets, to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the appropriate repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes to ensure accurate installations.
• Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Install electrical outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Upgrade electrical systems, as needed, to improve efficiency or meet new electrical requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding the scope of work, timelines, and any necessary changes to the project.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, including any necessary reports or inspections.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in electrical work.
• Valid electrician's license (or relevant certification) based on local regulations.
• Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical codes.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to \[insert weight]) and work in various physical positions.
• Ability to work in confined or high spaces, such as attics or rooftops.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments.
