Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Denter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and possess the technical expertise to restore vehicles to their original condition. You will be responsible for assessing damage, removing dents, and repairing body panels to maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of our customers\' vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
- Remove damaged body parts, including bumpers, fenders, hoods, grilles, and trim, using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Realign car frames and chassis to repair structural damage.
- Smooth out minor dents and fill small holes or rusted areas with plastic or solder.
- Straighten and reshape metal panels using hand tools and machines.
- Apply new finish to repaired areas to match existing paint.
- Install replacement parts, such as doors, panels, and other body components.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
- Keep a detailed record of all work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and explaining repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Proven experience as an Auto Denter or in a similar role within an automotive repair shop.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body construction and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using auto body repair tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
