The Auto Denter is responsible for repairing minor dents and dings on vehicles, typically using specialized tools and techniques. The goal is to restore the vehicle's exterior to its original condition. This role also involves performing other detailing tasks, such as cleaning, waxing, and polishing vehicles.
Key Responsibilities

Dent Repair
:
Use specialized tools and techniques to remove dents, dings, and creases from vehicle bodies.
Ensure repairs are done without damaging the paint or underlying structure of the vehicle.
Utilize paintless dent repair (PDR) techniques when applicable.
Exterior Detailing
:
Clean, wax, polish, and buff vehicles to maintain their appearance.
Remove contaminants such as dirt, tar, and road grime.
Apply sealants, coatings, and protectants to enhance the vehicle's finish.
Interior Detailing
:
Vacuum, shampoo, and clean the vehicle's interior, including seats, carpets, and upholstery.
Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.
Ensure the interior is free of debris and odors.
Customer Service
:
Interact with customers to understand their needs and explain the dent repair process.
Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs.
Offer additional services, such as waxing or interior cleaning, as needed.
Quality Control
:
Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
Ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards.
Equipment Maintenance
:
Maintain and care for the tools and equipment used for dent removal and detailing.
Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of workstations and tools.
Safety and Compliance

Qualifications
:
Proven experience as an auto detailer or dent repair technician.
Familiarity with paintless dent repair (PDR) techniques is a plus.

Good communication skills and customer service-oriented.
Ability to work with various cleaning and repair tools and equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require specialized training or certifications.
