As an Authority Liaison Engineer, will be responsible for a variety of tasks to aid our engineering team and support for a major project or possibly multiple projects.
Mandatory Requirement:
Bachelors' degree in Arch or Civil Engineering or any relevant engineering discipline
2 - 4 years experience in liaising and dealing with the approval process for villas, buildings, infrastructure, fit out projects with the specific statutory relevant authorities / stakeholders in Abu Dhabi Emirate
Have crystal clear understanding of Authority processes, procedures and policies and ensure that these are adhered to during the design submission and review process
Broad technical understanding of villas, building, infrastructure and fitout project sub-disciplines
Proficient in using CAD
Preferable Requirement (not mandatory):
Technical Bid Evaluation, preferable, not mandatory
Construction Contractual writing skill with fair knowledge of FIDIC Clauses, preferable, not mandatory
Ability to handle, review and respond to Contractor Submittals, RFI, SCR preferable, not mandatory
Ability to identify and address Project variation scope and change management with claim strategy, preferable, not mandatory
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders
Go-getter and ever positive attitude that focuses on improving team work and co-operation at all times
Focused, result-oriented, high attention to detail and eye for technical excellence
Excellent interpersonal skills, with high competency in listening and communicating
Time management ability, competence in prioritizing tasks and workload
Salary will be determined based on experience
