Business Development Manager - Asset Management
Job Location: Downtown Dubai, UAE
As a Business Development Manager in the field of Asset Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the company's assets under management (AUM) by identifying and nurturing potential clients, developing strategic partnerships, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Your primary objective will be to generate new business opportunities and increase revenue streams for the asset management firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize potential clients within the target market segments.
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's client base and increase AUM.
Utilize market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with the investment team to tailor investment solutions that meet the needs of prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing them with expert guidance on investment strategies and market trends.
Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and proactively address any concerns or issues.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with financial advisors, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to negotiate and structure partnership agreements that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as AUM growth, client acquisition rates, and revenue generation.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
Proven track record of success in business development roles within the asset management industry in UAE.
Deep understanding of investment products and strategies.
Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex investment concepts to clients and prospects.
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Candidates must be present in the UAE for a face-to-face interview.
